Everyone is talking about sustainable tourism. But who really knows what guests want and how they move around their vacation destination? A project at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences is helping to better understand visitors by visualizing their routes.
Together with the Salzburg-based company Commend International, a team of researchers and students has developed a solution for greater safety in cities. They are using the measurement of acoustic signals - i.e. measuring the noise level.
From fall 2024, a joint professorship will strengthen the connection between the University of Applied Sciences and the University of Salzburg. This unique “bridge professorship” connects the two universities as well as teaching and research areas. The aim is to further strengthen the topic of cyber security in Salzburg.
